Rita Anne Rollins Building

Campus: Druid Hills in Atlanta

Namesake: Rita Anne Rollins

Dates: Construction in 2008 | Named in 2013

Purpose: Academics

Housing the Candler School of Theology, the facility now known as the Rita Anne Rollins Building originally lacked a name. A gift from the Rollins Foundation to complete the Pitts Theology Library building opened a naming opportunity.

Rita Anne Rollins, who died at age 17, was a granddaughter of philanthropists O. Wayne and Grace Rollins and daughter of Board of Trustees member Randall Rollins. A room in the Grace Crum Rollins Building also is named for the girl.
