President, Community Foundation for a Greater Atlanta
The Community Foundation for a Greater Atlanta is one of the largest philanthropic organizations in the country. Alicia Philipp has led the foundation for more than thirty years, and, in that time, it has grown from $7 million to more than $625 million in assets.
The foundation facilitates more planned gifts than any other locally based nonprofit organization in the Southeast, and Philipp is recognized as one of Atlanta's most influential community leaders. Among her many honors, Philipp received the 2010 John H. Allen Humanitarian Award from Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters.
