Kamal A. Mansour

Kamal A. Mansour began his relationship with Emory in 1966 when he was named chief resident in cardiothoracic surgery at Emory University Hospital.
An international pioneer in his specialty, Mansour has worked with thousands of Emory students, faculty, and patients as a chief resident, professor, and mentor. Mansour returns to his native Egypt several times a year to care for patients in Egyptian teaching and university hospitals.
For his selfless work, Mansour was awarded the Shield of Medicine by the Medical Scientific Society of Egypt as one of the top ten Egyptian doctors in the world.
