Arthur L. Kellermann
Founding Chair of Department of Emergency Medicine
After receiving his medical degree at Emory and an MPH from the University of Washington, Arthur L. Kellermann served as founding chair of Emory's Department of Emergency Medicine for eight years and as founding director of the Center for Injury Control at the Rollins School of Public Health for thirteen years.
His dedication earned him the Hal Jayne Academic Excellence Award, the Emory University Scholar/Teacher Award, and Emory's Charles Hatcher Award for Excellence in Public Health. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine and the National Academies.
